Whether you are a seasoned pizza chef or a pizza enthusiast, the Pizza Challenge is an exciting event that celebrates the art of pizza making. So, bring your favorite homemade pizza and compete for a chance to be crowned the best pizza maker in town! The challenge is divided into three categories: most creative, most original, and dessert pizza. In the most creative category, contestants are encouraged to use unusual ingredients, unique combinations, and innovative cooking techniques to create a pizza that stands out from the rest. The most original category focuses on the use of regional or traditional ingredients to create a pizza that reflects the cook's cultural heritage or personal style. Finally, the dessert pizza category challenges contestants to create a pizza that satisfies the sweet tooth


June 29 @ 6:00 PM - Save the Planet Night

A collection of food items that are eco-friendly, sustainably sourced, and low on carbon footprint. Raise awareness about the impact of food consumption on the environment and to promote environmentally responsible choices. Dishes  that are made from organic, locally sourced produce, and free-range meats. Vegetarian and vegan options that use plant-based ingredients, such as legumes, whole grains, and vegetables, to reduce the carbon footprint of the meal.


July 6 @ 6:00PM -All American Night & BBQ & Tailgate

Celebrating the quintessential American culture of sports, food, and community. At the heart  is a classic American BBQ featuring all the favorites, such as juicy burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, and ribs. Themed around a popular American sports game, like football or baseball. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite team's colors and jerseys. A tailgating vibe can be created with outdoor games like cornhole or minigolf, and a playlist of upbeat American anthems and classic rock. “Sail Training Sundae Bar”


July 13 @ 6:00 PM - Bon Appetit Caribbean & the Islands Night

Caribbean cuisine is a world of flavor - featuring mouth-watering hot sauces; spice rubs, fragrant marinades and cool chutneys feature in hand tossed salads, spice wood grills and slowly simmered one pots. Caribbean foods are some of the unique dishes in the world, primarily consisting of fresh-caught seafood, local fruits, and other regional delights.


July 20 @ 6:00PM - Mediterranean Night

Mediterranean food features ingredients and cooking styles from a broad region of 3 main culinary areas, Europe (specifically Greece, Italy and Spain), Africa (particularly Algeria, Libya and Morocco) and the Middle East (including Lebanon, Syria, Turkey and Israel). Choose a Mediterranean region and search for a fun recipe to share with others.


July 27 @ 6:00PM - Tinned Fish Night

From mussels in escabeche to wild cockles preserved in salt brine to classic salt-packed anchovies, the category of “tinned fish” is so broad that we’re tempted to say that if you have a beloved recipe, there is surely a tinned fish that could be added to it! Example dishes include kale Caesar, garlicky beans with lemon, dill, & trout, tuna casserole, smoked salmon dip, linguine & clams, fish chowder, Tuna Niçoise Salad, and many more. "or simply make a beautiful tinned fish charcuterie spread".


Aug 3 @ 6:00PM - Diverse Cuisine of Southeast Asia

Get ready for a tantalizing adventure of flavors with a potluck featuring diverse cuisine from Southeast Asia! An exciting experience for your taste buds as you explore the many delectable dishes from these regions. Expect a feast of fragrant curries, spicy sauces, flavorful herbs, and exotic spices. From tangy and sour to spicy and sweet you will get to savor the different textures, colors, and flavors of each dish. Expect to see vibrant colors and aromas that will take you on a culinary journey. A  celebration of diversity and cultural exchange.

Aug 10 @ 6:00PM - Italian Night 

Enjoy the  taste of the different regions and flavors of Italy. Some popular options might include pasta dishes such as spaghetti with meatballs, fettuccine alfredo, or lasagna. Appetizers like bruschetta or antipasti platters can also add to the festive atmosphere. Main course dishes such as chicken parmigiana, osso buco, or risotto. And of course, no Italian meal is complete without pizza!  And don't forget the wine! Italy is famous for its wine, so be sure to have a variety of reds, whites, and prosecco on hand to pair with the meal.


Aug 17 @ 6:00PM - Sandwiches & Salad Night 

A variety of colorful and delicious salads made with fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs, tossed with flavorful dressings. Some popular salad options might include a classic Caesar salad, a Greek salad, a kale salad with avocado and quinoa, or a fruit salad with berries and honey-lime dressing.In addition to the salads, guests can also expect to see a variety of sandwiches made with different types of bread, meats, cheeses, and spreads. Some popular sandwich options might include a classic BLT, a turkey and avocado sandwich, a grilled cheese with tomato soup, or a veggie sandwich with hummus and roasted vegetables.


Aug 24 @ 6:00PM - Surf & Turf Night

A theme of ocean and land -  The best of both worlds. Seafood dishes with favorites like shrimp cocktail, and crab cakes. Other options might include a  hearty seafood stew. For meat dishes, options such as steaks, burgers or chicken. The grills will be on! Side dishes can be just as diverse and exciting, with options ranging from roasted vegetables and grilled asparagus to baked potatoes and homemade mac and cheese.


Aug 31 @ 6:00PM - Mexican Night

Grab some guacamole and chips along with your favorite Mexican foods-tacos, burritos, chimichangas,  taco salad, tamales, quesadillas, enchiladas,  sopapillas and come on down to TYC for a fun eve. with great food!
