This is US Sailing Sanctioned International Offshore Safety at Sea Course with Hands-on Training. Whether you are a racer or cruising sailor, there can’t be enough said about the benefit of hands-on training.  This 2-days of intensive training is for any sailor who wants to be self-sufficient on the water.  There is no better way to spend a winter weekend than to prepare for the upcoming sailing season.

This course will cover a range of topics and include hands-on experiences, including:

• Emergency Signaling (Flares, and more)

• Emergency procedures (COB, Lifesling rope, drogue, injuries, etc)

• Lifejacket (yup, the pool)

• Liferaft boarding (in the pool)

• Group problem solving (everyone has an opinion)

Lunch will be provided both days.
